Wk#17HJ Hero’s Journey

Week 17 Hero’s Joirney had us mixing it up a bit, going back and reading past lessons, picking one we wanted or reading Emersons law of compensation. The heroes journey from Joseph Campbell talks about the our journey, every movie or story has a hero that answered the call, Star Wars, Rambo, Rocky series, all of them. And most of us.. We answer the call. To step out into the abyss, the unknown and go on the adventure, the journey. Stepping over the threshold then finding a mentor going out a concurring whatever it is and then returning home with the prize or experience to show others the way. I too have been the reluctant Hero, letting things in life, fears, worries, doubts and struggles hold me back. I’m working through them and learning the power of our thoughts and focused concentration on the things we want. It’s so easy for us to aimlessly wonder through this life. Before you know it your forty or more and haven’t truly answered the call? Do you truly know your Darma your DMP Definite Major Purpose as to why your here and what your heart really desires to do. Who’s life can you change, whom can you serve? I’m so grateful for Mark J and Davene for sharing their experience and time to show others the way. To help people not by telling them what to do but helping them learn how to “think” for themselves to really dig deep and learn who you are inside and what truly makes us tick. I’m still a work in progress. I commit to continue and to step up my efforts to be who I’m created to be. I must continue to practice and exercise my mind just like a muscle to think. To control my thoughts, and manifest them through with a clear vision of my DMP. Mahalo to all
God Bless your journey, your bliss. Follow the path, step out. I believe in you😃

Wk #17 Concentration

Wk 17 in the Master Key study again talked more about our subconscious mind and driving it with concentration. He starts out stating the student who masters the contents of part seventeen will not mistake the symbols for the reality; he will be interested in causes, rather than effects. He will concentrate on the realities of life, and will not be disappointed in the results. We are told that “Man has dominion over all things”; this dominion is established through mind. Thought is the activity which controls every principle beneath it. Concentration is much misunderstood; there seems to,be an idea of effort or activity associated with it, when just the contrary is nessesary. The greatness of an actor lies in the fact that he forgets himself in the portrayal of his caracter, becoming so identified with it, that the audience is swayed by the realism of the performance. This will give you a good idea of concentration; you should be so interested in your thought, so engrossed in your subject, as to be conscious of nothing else. Seven, all knowledge is the result of concentration of this kind; it is this that the secrets of heaven and earth have been wrested; it is this that the mind becomes a magnet and the desire to know draws out the knowledge, irresistibly attracts it, makes it your own. The subconscious mind may be aroused and brought into action in any direction and made to serve us for any purpose, by concentration.. Word!! That’s good stuff. Concentration does not mean mere thinking of thoughts, but the transmutation of here thoughts into practical values; the average person has no conception of the meaning of concentration. There is always the cry “to have” but never the cry “to be”; they fail to understand that they cannot have one without the other, that they must first find the “kingdom” before they can have the “things added.” Monetary enthusiasm is of no value; it is only with unbounded self-confidence that the goal is reached. So for our exercise each day after our read during our “sit” we were to concentrate on our purpose and activities towards it. And always remember.. If you wish to eliminate fear, concentrate on courage.. If you wish to eliminate lack, concentrate on abundance.. If you wish to eliminate disease, concentrate on health.. Go for it.. Practice and you’ll be amazed when your at least aware of this. You’ll put it into practice more I hope. Make it a great rest of the week friends, Haanel has much wisdom and I’m thankful for the Master Key Namaste’ my friends

Wk#16 kindness

Week 16 in the Master Key program our mentor Mark J had us focus on Kindness based on Emerson. We had to go throughout our day sharing kindness to others. Do our best to do two that no one knew about or couldn’t repay. It was a pretty easy task. I’ve always been observing of my surroundings and try to help others. What it did make me realize is I’m not as aware as I used to be. Or maybe not as expressive enough towards the person maybe I should praise or compliment even.. It did stretch me a bit to not only see a problem to to show kindness by taking care of it. Example in the gym in the Mornings maybe there is paper someone missed in the bathroom after washing their hands. Or even out in the gym, and to pick it up. Or even putting up some weights someone left off the racks. It was a fun week and has again made me more aware of my surrounding and focused on kindness. And the beautiful thing is the law of attraction and of give more get more I seen in action. As I felt even more kindness and love in return. What a beautiful thing.. More grace more kindness and more love. That which you put out returns 😊 we were challenged to continue this act to continue showing kindness and because of this the world will be a better place. Just in that one week alone there were well over six thousand acts of kindness given and recored by the three hundred of us in this study. So I challenge you to look for and act upon a few extra kindnesses this week as you go throughout your day. Try the best you can to do them without even being noticed. Give without reciprocity and see what happens in return. Make it a great week friends. Namaste’ and God Bless you all. Cary

Wk #15 insight

So week 15 in the master key study focuses on insight, Haanel states, growth is attained through an exchange of the old for the new, of the good for the better; it is a conditional or reciprocal action, for each of us is a complete thought entity and this completeness makes it possible for us to receive only as we give. We cannot obtain what we lack if we tenaciously cling to what we have. All conditions and experiences that come to us do so for a benefit, difficulties and obstacles will continue to come until we absorb their wisdom and gather from them the essentials of further growth. That we reap what we sow is mathematically exact. We gain permanent strength exactly to the extent of the effort required to overcome difficulties. In thirteen he states, thought may lead to action of any kind but whatever the action,it is simply thought attempting to express itself in visible form. It is evident therefore, that if we wish desirable conditions we can afford to entertain only desirable thoughts. It all goes back to that saying, “thoughts are things and what we think about we bring about” it so important to visualize and see ourselves where we want to be in life. There can be no question but that he who “is wise enough to understand” will readily recognize that the creative power of thought places an invincible weapon in his hands and makes him a master of destiny.. We have to the power inside to make it our best life. Make sure your thinking and speaking life good thoughts daily.. Make it a Great week

God Bless Cary

Wk#14 Persistence and Patients

In my study of Master Keys we were asked to watch a movie this week, we were given four to choose from, I chose Door to Door, it’s a true story based on the life of Bill Porter, we were asked to find certain things about the movie. To be an observer to mainly see the Hero’s journey at work as it is in all movies and stories. This was no different.
See Bill Porter was an adult living with his mom, his father had passed away and the big thing was Bill had ceribal palsy. So he was basically crippled, had a bad limp one of his hands didn’t work and so forth speech slurred and all. The movie started out with him going to Watkins soap company and asking for a job, his mom had reminded him that people don’t accept you as fast as some so remember “Persistence and patients” and that he did, as he came out of the office and his mom sees he obviously didn’t get the job, he turned around and marched back in that boss mans office and ask sir just give me your worst route. The one nobody wants if I sell them then you look good and we all win.. Mind you this was in the fifties and door to door selling was more common. So the hero, Bill, went out and persistently went back again and again to those houses regularly honing his skills and making the people fall in love with him or at least they must have felt sorry for him and bought the products and the. They all grew to love him.. Bill faced his fears learned the skills and knowledge about all the products he was selling and just patiently and persistently kept crossing over the threshold I to the unknown as Joseph Campbell teaches us about the heroes journey. Along his path he found others that he became friends with and encouraged him to go on.. I cried, I laughed and most of all I got that we truly are Natures greatest miracle as Og talks about in Scroll four of the greatest salesman in the world. That if we persist long enough towards our goals and dreams. Our Darma or Definite Major Purpose we will win. We can do all things. I challenge you to go after your goals and dreams this year, make them more than just that, grain it in as your DMP in life your purpose. And you can currently find the full movie of door to door on YouTube ck it out I believe it will touch your heart and inspire you as well.
God Bless

Wk #13 Practicing knowledge

Continuing my journey in week 13 of my master key study we have come to know that thinking is a spiritual process, that vision and imagination proceed action and event, that the day of the dreamer has come. We are truly being taught to think, to set and visualize what we want out of life, our personal pivotal needs. Exercising your brain to visualize to be visionaries. I have truly noticed improvement, much to go still but much improvement indeed.
Haanel says in fifteen, it will be found that the creative power will explain every possible condition or experience, whether physical, mental or spiritual. Thought will bring about conditions in correspondence with the predominant mental attitude. Therefore, if we fear disaster, as fear is a powerful form of thought, disaster will be the certain result of our thinking. It is the form of thought which frequently sweeps away the result of many years of toil and effort. What then is the proper method of procedure, what are we to think in order to secure what we really desire. What you and I desire, what we all desire, what everyone is seeking, is happiness and harmony. If we can truly be happy we should have everything the world can give. If we are happy ourselves we can make others happy. But he states we cannot be happy unless we have health, strength, congenial friends, sufficient supply, not only to take care of our necessities, but to provide for those comforts and luxuries to which we are entitled.
In twenty he states The old Orthodox way of thinking was to be a worm,to be satisfied with Porsche whatever it is; but the modern idea is to know that we are entitled to the best of everything, that the “father and I are one” and that the father is the universal mind the creator the original substance from which all things proceed.
Takes me to this part of “practicing our knowledge” if you think of the athlete who may read books and lessons on physical training all his life but unless he begins to give out strength by actual work he will never receive any strength.he will eventually get exactly what he gives; but he will have to give it first.it is exactly the same with us;we will get exactly what we give, but we shall have to give it first. It will then return to us many fold, and the giving is simply a mental process because thoughts are causes and conditions are effects. Therefore giving thoughts of courage and inspiration,or help of any kind we are setting causes in motion, which will bring about their effect.
So being careful what we think about, thinking about great things, wonderful lovely things as James talks about in the greatest book ever. Thinking about such things, what do you want to do with your life, at this time of year turning the calendar over, visualize what would you do or what could you do if money or time were no object. But then we must put that into practice. Knowledge is nothing without action. Make it a great week my friend and happy new year.
Too much more visualization and action in 2015

Wk #12 Applying the knowledge

So week twelve in my 26 wk Master key course Haanel again drives home the point again that Knowledge does not apply itself.
1. There’s no purpose in life that cannot be best published through scientific understanding of the creative power of thought. This power to think it’s common to to all.man is, because he thinks. Mans power to think is infinite. consequently his creative power is unlimited. 3. He states we know that thought this building for us the thing we think of and actually bringing it nearer, yet we find it difficult to banish fear, anxiety or discouragement all of which are powerful thought forces and which continually send the things we desire further away, so that is often one step forward and two steps backwards. The only way to keep from going backward is to keep going forward, there are three steps and each one is absolutely essential. You must first have the knowledge of your power, second the courage to dare; third, the faith to do. He states with this as a basis you can construct an ideal business, and ideal home, ideal friends, and an ideal environment. Infinite resources are therefore at your command.
This is all done through thought, what we think about, thinking about the things which we truly desire, our definite major purpose.
It is the combination of thought and love which forms the irresistible force called the law of attraction this is done by concentration or attention to those things, and it is in silence but you get in touch with the omnipotent power of the subconscious mind from which all power is evolved. And lastly he who desires wisdom, power, or permanent success of any kind will find it only within.. You were made for greatness by the greatest, powerful beyond measure. So as we learn and read and grow ourselves it’s so important that we put that knowledge into action. I’m speaking loudly to myself and hoping you’re hearing is well.
Many blessings to you and yours
Cary
