Wk #19 Power conscious

Week nineteen in my Master key study starts out with fear is a powerful form of thought. It paralyzes the nerve centers thus affecting the circulation of the blood. This intern paralyzes the muscular system so that fear affects the entire being body brain and nerve physical mental and muscular. He goes on to state the truth that of course the way to overcome fear is to become conscious of power. And Mark J and our video this week shared a Ted video by Amy Cuddy from back in June 2012. She talked about studies they did of people doing the power pose. What was interesting is how the way our posture and physiology is we can control how we feel how powerful we feel or how timid we feel. They did the study going through people using certain postures and then after doing so for two minutes testing their saliva,and how in the power position it raises your testosterone and lowers your cortisol. And when those same people set in the timid shy or bashful positions and folded head down the exact opposite was true. I know I’ve heard Tony Robbins talk about the importance of our physiology over and over again and getting in that “state”, so I know this is true because I have done it. Isn’t it interesting how after you win a race you raise your hands in thanks and praise and power. Like Yes I did it.. Right. One of our main goals of this course is to train our brain to learn how to think and to know that thoughts are things. That to know what we want in life our definite true purpose and to think about that because the subconscious mind will manifest it if you focus and think about it often. I have definitely gone through some struggle the last year or two and I’m working on myself. It’s definitely a daily growing process sometimes frustrating others times you realize there are those moments that you know you’ve grown even in the smallest things of your awareness and who you are. Haanel talks about change how we are in the presence of continual change, everything is becoming new, think about the grass the trees, they die and they come back again they grow and their constantly changing. We have to know that our mind must also grow and we must think, ability to think and act upon the things that we need to do and desire in our lives. How we fuel our body to make it go then why would we not fuel our brain. We must continue to practice to think to focus on things we need to do and what we desire in our life. It goes right along with Og in scroll number 5 of the greatest salesman. ” I will live this day as if it’s my last” we have to find a way to tap into the power to be able to create to make it the best day of our life to bust through the fear and realize our power. This can be a struggle but we all can do it, I can do it.

    Thanks for the reminder of the power pose! I appreciate your review of where we are at in the MKMMA course….because sometimes it gets too easy to overlook where I have been and where I am going. Thanks for highlighting that WE CAN DO IT!!

    Power pose is for me the most immediate and powerful action or thought. I strike it while speaking affirmations and reading etc. Also just before a sit, so my mind is alive and hitting on all cylinders. The burst of insights and images is a great help in planning and scheduling and imagining presentations bursting with enthusiasm.
